Gum Disease Treatments

Now the Good News

Gum surgery is the accepted, prescribed treatment for advanced periodontal disease. This type of procedure is almost always successful in controlling the condition, and it’s usually covered by standard insurance plans. With mild periodontal disease, there are potent NON-surgical procedures that, when combined with increased dental hygiene, can virtually arrest the spread of the disease. These, too, are normally covered by most dental insurance plans.
